KL Polish Review

Kathleen Lights is my favorite beauty guru in the industry right now. When she came out with her own nail polish line last Winter, I had been dying to try it ever since. I had only heard amazing things about the polishes in her line, so I finally ordered all of my favorite shades to try out. Heres my review:

The claims made by KL Polish for what these nail polishes are supposed to do are: “All KL Polish nail polishes are cruelty free, 5-free, and made in the USA using a high-quality, long-lasting, non-chip formula.”

The first shade I tried was Coconut Milk, a creamy off white perfect for everyday neutral wear. Saying I LOVE this shade is an understatement. Everybody needs this shade in their collection.

As for the wear, with two coats of Coconut Milk and a Sally Hansen top coat, it lasted at least twice as long as other nail polish brands on me, and I am HARD on my nails. This polish lasted about a week on my nails with minimal chipping, and after the one week mark it did start chipping off. Most polishes such as OPI or Sally Hansen usually start chipping after day two.

Some of the other shades I picked up are:

1.Hug and Roll: a light lavender perfect for spring and summer.
2.Porter Miami: a vivd cobalt blue that really made my nails POP during summertime!
3.Snickerdoodle: a subtle nude polish that looks good on everyone and is perfect for natural everyday wear.
4.Brick Sidewalk: a deep, rusty red shade that I can’t wait to put on in anticipation for fall!
5.St. Clair: a light periwinkle that is subtle but still has a little pop to it. I loved this shade transitioning from spring to summer!

KL Polish definitely impressed me and made me love nail polish again after a long time of being disappointed by polishes chipping fast and not staying pretty for long. I would DEFINITELY recommend this brand to anyone looking for polish. Kathleen comes out with a new set of 6 shades for every season and never disappoints. (She just released her fall 2017 line and I am dying to have it, check it out here)

One last thing, the price point, these polishes go for $8.50 a piece and are discounted if bought in a set. In my opinion, the higher price point for better polish is 100% worth it to me. I will be buying more in the future!
